the lovely little details approach

From event styling and floral design to full planning assistance, lovely little details is a full-service wedding and event design boutique with the experience, creativity, and connections to take all of your ideas and bring them to life. My “home base” is in the Bay Area, California, but I also service New England events and destination weddings outside of the United States {did I mention I love to travel?}. I treat each event as my ultimate priority and limit the number of events per year in order to provide you with the highest level of service and attention.

Every event is totally unique and different – some of my clients may choose to be very hands-on while others prefer for me to handle everything. I don’t believe in “packages” for this very reason and instead work with each client to create a quote based on what you need vs. an existing package. Once we decide to work together, I provide you with a questionnaire to help me understand the ins and outs of what makes you you – from your favorite color, to how you met your love, to your priorities for the big day – so that I can provide suggestions on all the lovely little details that will make your wedding totally personalized, memorable, and have your guests feeling like they just participated in something truly special. For more information and a full price list, please contact me to set up a free consultation over coffee or better yet, a glass of bubbly.

full planning + design

Your wedding is more than just one day – it can be a full weekend of events, from the rehearsal dinner to local activities for out of town guests – and my goal is to create a complete experience that you and your guests will enjoy from start to finish. From hotel room blocks to design details to rehearsal dinner management, I manage all of the lovely little details to let you enjoy the fun parts of wedding planning - picking colors, choosing flowers, and showing up without a worry on the big day. In my mind, the logistics are key, and just as important as the design; with this said, every single step of the process is an important one, from our very first consultation, to brainstorming on design inspiration and aspirations, to booking your favorite photographer, to aligning all of your vendors on the master timeline prior to the big day. Once your wedding day arrives, my team is the first to arrive on-site to oversee vendor arrivals and design set-up, and the last to leave at the end of the night, making sure all of your gifts have been tucked away and everything is back in order. I will align you with my most trusted vendors to match your style and aesthetic, help you find the perfect venue, and set you up with your ultimate wedding dream team to keep you excited throughout the process rather than bogged down in the details. The majority of my clients have a very busy work schedule or are planning from afar (in fact, 95% of my clients are located outside the bay area) and it is my goal and priority to act as your resident liaison for all vendors and rentals, make site visits and take measurements on your behalf, and do everything I can to ease your mind and pull your big day together from start to finish.

floral design

From billowing hydrangeas and delicate peonies to intricate ranunculus, floral design has always been a true passion of mine and I love to create unique bouquets, boutonnieres and centerpieces to match your theme, personality, and event aesthetic. My style is very organic and natural - think berries and kumquats mixed with textured dahlias and unique scabiosa - and completely fits with the farm-to-table weddings that I design. Floral design can be added as part of the full design and planning, or as a stand-alone service {there is a $2,500 minimum for stand-alone floral orders}.

custom design

Creating custom placecards, building signage, and embossing custom-designed menus are some of my favorite aspects of wedding planning. If you have an idea, we can create it.
