Summer to me is sitting on the beach with a good book in hand, and possibly a cocktail or beer sitting in the sand next to my beach chair. I think we all have our favorite “summer reads”, so let’s share them! There’s nothing I love more than discovering a new book to whisk me away for just a few hours while I leave my troubles behind.

Here are a few of mine:

Yes, I realize almost all of them have since turned in to movies but I have to be honest, I read them all before they were turned in to film and could probably write an entire post about how horrible My Sister’s Keeper (the movie) was compared to the book! I can also add that almost anything by Jane Green or Jodi Picoult would be on this list, as they are my faves.
