Winter Bridal Coverups

I was recently talking to a friend who is planning her December 2011 nuptials, a lovely winter wedding, and we were talking about pretty bridal boleros to keep the chill away.  I did a post on this back in the fall but realized I should probably update it to reflect the winter season, too.  This one is for you :)

I did some scouring and below are some of my favorite cozy winter coverups!

Or what about this sparkly number?

I LOVE the shawl on the left!
I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again - if I could do it over again, I would seriously consider a winter wedding.  There is so much you can do with the snowy elements to make things so cozy and warm (and any excuse to wear one of these lovely boleros or shrugs would work for me!)

the furry or faux fur ones are great! Seeing those and the fact that I usually get ready for work every morning watching Friends reruns reminds me of Phoebe getting married in the snow… how magical could/would that be!

I get cold so easily so I would definitely have needed one of these for a winter wedding even though I know I wouldn't really want any thing at all over my dress. Nice options for the chilly weather though. There is no point in freezing to death on your wedding day right??
