Today’s guest blogger is one of my faves - the super talented and crafty (did I mention gorgeous, too?) Rachael of Lace and Likes! I’m so excited to have her visiting today and filling in for me before I head on back home from Mexico. Her wedding was probably one of my favorites of all time, and she’s sharing all of her details with us today :) Make sure to show her some love!

hello lovely LLD readers! I’m Rachael from Lace and Likes! I am super thrilled to be guest posting today for Jacin while she’s sipping a tropical drink and planning what I’m sure is to be an incredible destination wedding.

As a recent bride and now planner, I am all about the little details that make up a wedding and I know Jacin is too!  Pouring yourself  into each little piece of your wedding is what makes it personal, it’s what makes it you. When I’m working with a new couple, I ask them to tell me all about them, their story, their favorites and not-so-favorites, and I create the details of their wedding completely around what they’ve expressed makes them who they are. That way, when their guests finally arrive on their wedding day, they are able to really SEE the couple in every aspect of the event. The best thing people said to me after our wedding was over was that it was so us‘. Here are some photos of the details of our day:

All that is to say, focus on the little details because each little project, each element to your day that you choose is an expression of you as a couple and that’s what all of your guests are there to celebrate!  If you focus on those things, your wedding will turn out so beautifully and so uniquely you.
