Printing Memories for the Wall & Holiday Gift Idea {Easy Canvas Prints}

{personal image, taken during sunrise on day 1 of our honeymoon at the four seasons in maui}

We have so many pictures from our honeymoon and trips through the years that have continued to sit right here on my computer - I’m so bad about getting things printed out and up on the wall! Our friends have dubbed us the “small picture people” because in the middle of our spacious walls, we have 1 tiny picture hung sporadically through the apartment. It’s actually kind of funny because we never noticed it before until one of our friends pointed it out during one of our get-togethers. Exhibit A:

Tiny picture, big wall.

So, to solve this problem, I decided to get one of our favorite honeymoon pictures from Maui and get it blown up on a canvas print - I used Easy Canvas Prints and have to say, they did an amazing job! Not only were they crazy affordable, but they were quick too - and we now have a sentimental memory hanging on our wall that fills the space a bit more. They really took what started as a pretty picture and turned it in to a piece of art. Exhibit B (taken with iPhone):

Once I realized how great this canvas print came out, not gonna lie - I totally went to town and ordered about 5 more prints as Christmas gifts, including some pictures I had posted on instagram. Check out how awesome this one came out - it was an iPhone picture!

I was seriously impressed and now have plenty of memories to fill our wall with, rather than our tiny little pictures. I will definitely be creating a collage of instagram pictures to fill our other wall.

Anyone else considering something like this for a holiday gift? If you do, make sure to head on over and “like” Easy Canvas Prints on Facebook - you’ll get a code for 50% off & free shipping on your next order! I also have 3 $10 gift cards to share if anyone would like a code. I’ll just draw 3 names randomly based on comments below :)

Happy holiday shopping!

    I love canvas print! They are addicting though, watch out. I also found faux canvas prints the other day (they are just HP printed paper and done right there in the store and you have them within an hour. I was able to get an 11×14 for $10 so I tried it, I figured it was worth a gamble and holy crap they are awesome too :). Yup I’m addicted :)

    What a wonderful idea! John and I really need to get better about taking photos–there’s not a single snapshot of our engagement, our recitals, not even our you know what!

    That sounds awful.

    So fun Jacin! I love the canvas prints and have always wanted to print a few for our home :) You’re not going to believe it, but I have pics from our trip to Maui that look just like yours! Only I made a photobook. PS. I still love the tiny wall frame pic.

    I have been wanting to put a canvas potrait up behind my sofa because the wall seems so blah with just the decorative boxes. May use this idea in the new year.
