fall inspiration series part 2: the FOOD! (guest blogger tami brown)

by jacin on November 17, 2010

from jacin: i am so excited to have several amazing guest posts lined up for the next few weeks surrounding fall inspiration!  (if you’re on twitter, you can link up at #fallinspiration).  today’s post is coming to you from none other than tami brown of fabulously wed.  tami provides so much daily inspiration on her site, you must check it out (and i love how descriptive she is in her writing)!  in the meantime though, i hope you’re not too hungry because tami’s guest post is centered around fall foods - and they all look amazing!!  fall brides will definitely benefit from all the appetizer ideas below - or even attempt them on their own with the recipes tami was so kind to include!
thank you so much tami!!
from tami:
Over the weekend I attended a brunch event at Serra Plaza in San Juan Capistrano.  One of the best parts of the brunch was sampling the many comfort foods available to tantalize our palate.  And it was tantalizing!  It got me to thinking about how much I love comfort foods.  I watched the reactions of those around me as they sampled their comfort foods.  There were “Ooohs and Aaahs” in abundance.  It was nutritious, delicious and certainly a great way to strike up conversation.  I had a wonderful time and I believe that the good food took part in setting up my mood.
Fall is an ideal time for offering comfort foods.  Rich soups, tart apples, sticky, gooey desserts.  And what better time to strike up a lively conversation than at cocktail hour.  Here are a few of my top choices for Fall Inspired Wedding Appetizers.
