You may have seen rumblings about this on twitter, but I am so excited to be co-chairing a For Japan With Love benefit event here in San Francisco on April 26! Together with Yasmin of Floral Theory, Erin of Bustle Events/Heritage & Craft, and Hazel of Blu Bunglaow in partnership with Lucia & Henny of Utterly Engaged and Lydia of Ever Ours, we are banding together to bring this amazing online movement to life here in San Francisco!
I have been selling my Jars of Love with all proceeds benefiting the devastation in Japan, and when I heard from Yasmin that they were looking to organize a benefit for this cause, I was excited and willing to get involved! We reached out to Lucia, Henny and Lydia and all hopped on a conference call to discuss logistics and receive a blessing to move forward from the three lovely ladies who created FJWL in the first place. With excited squeals and minds racing, we all set to work and have been going non-stop since the get-go.
Here are the details!
On Tuesday, April 26, join us for an evening to honor those in Japan who have been affected by the recent devastation. Participate in a silent auction {including photography sessions, custom etsy jewelry, workout sessions from Jonny -our Bridal Fitness Editor!- and more}, purchase Jars of Love, and enjoy sips and sweets to the tunes of DJ Spintronix while we come together to help those who so desperately need us. And, cue even more excitement, we will have a representative from ShelterBox onsite with a ShelterBox to display and to talk about the organization!!!! Annnnnd…. Lucia, Henny and Lydia will be onsite with us too!! Our goal is to raise $5,000! Admission is free but donations will be accepted at the door.
