The Sweetest Wedding Highlight Video You Ever Did See: Sara & Rob {Fiore Films}

I wanted to call this “Why You Should Save Money In Your Budget For Video”, because after seeing this, and Mike Maler did ours, I so strongly believe that the investment is worth every penny.

When I first saw this video on Sara’s blog, First Comes Love…Then Comes Marriage…Then Comes Life, I had tears streaming down my face. I never had any idea that her {now husband} was hearing impaired or that she was an American Sign Language Interpreter, and that the two communicated via sign language. I’m sure she mentioned it before, but I guess I never really realized it. Until I saw their video. And had goosebumps. And watched it again. And asked Sara if I could share it with all of you {didn’t want to post something so special without permission!} And she said yes! Here is her story.

From Sara: We almost didn’t get a wedding video. We thought the pictures would be enough. We thought the money could be better spent somewhere else in the budget. We thought we wouldn’t watch it in years to come….we thought it wouldn’t be accessible. All of those “thoughts” almost created a decision that would have been a regret. Something in me just knew that we would want more than photos when it was all said and done. After a year of planning, blogging, and loving all things wedding I knew the day would fly by. The moments and memories would become a blur. The pictures would be (and are!) gorgeous but they are not “enough” and our budget was tight but the money would not have been better spent on any thing else, because nothing else would have lasted passed the day. We decided to see if we could find someone that was a good fit for us and for our photographer. So we asked Mike Smith from Ash Imagery for ideas, ”Who do you like to work with? Who do you recommend?” “There is only one” he said, “Sharrone at Fiore Films.” I called her that afternoon. Not only was her awesome fun personality a hit right away, but …here’s the kicker….she was willing to close caption our video for Rob or any of our other Deaf friends that want to watch it with us. Some of the biggest reasons why we weren’t going to get a video at all was gone after one call. Now we are so thankful for the opportunity to relive this very special day again and again for the rest of our lives. The magic she made is breathtaking, touching, and priceless. After seeing her other work…our exceptions were justifiably high- but we both agree she blew every.single.one.of.them out of the water. “Teaser” is just the right term for our video…we’re completely teased and can’t wait to see the full length film! Working with Fiore Films was one of the best decisions we made.

If you’re not already checking out Sara’s blog, head on over. She is the sweetest little thing you’ll ever meet, and her writing just transports you to another world, if not just for a few moments each day with her posts.

Thank you so much Sara for sharing this with us today!

    This video is one of the most powerful wedding films I have ever seen. It’s beautifully made, it’s got the right intensity. It was worth getting a video to remember it… And those guys just made it work so amazingly. Wedding films can be terrible, but this one is pure perfection and that’s what we try to tell our clients. Find the right person otherwise the spend in the budget is really not justified indeed!
    BEAUTIFUL.

    I’m not usually a lover of other people’s wedding videos (I don’t know why, I’m just more of a photo person) but I LOVED this one! So sweet.

    So sweet. I wish we had invested in a videographer. My BIL filmed our ceremony…but in the beginning of the wedding he handed it off to my Husbands younger cousin who was filming some random beach goers!

    I love this video! I had never seen wedding videos like this until a couple weeks ago. Obviously ever since I’ve been trying to weasel one into my budget somehow. I hope I get my way! It’s such a beautiful memento from a day I’m sure will go by way to fast.

    I heard about people crying from this video and I had to check it out! I have no words, just tears. So beautiful! You know a videographer is good and a couple is real when you cry over a wedding video that isn’t even your own! (That or I’m just a hopeless romantic) :-) Beautiful!

    What a beautiful, heartfelt story. One way to make a lasting memory on your wedding day is to incorporate a wedding favor that gives back to a good cause. I love the wedding scrolls favors from the American Cancer Society. This is surely a way to make a lasting memory on your special day.
