Today’s lovely guests in the Bloggers {Unveiled} series are the oh-so-darling gals behind the Wedding Chicks, Jocey Canrinus & Amy Squires! These two ladies have been such an inspiration to all of us, and I’m happy to have them visiting today!

Bloggers {Unveiled}:

How did you get started in the wedding world?
Jocey and I were both in the wedding industry before we started Wedding Chicks. Jocey designed invitations and I was a photographer. We created Wedding Chicks in 2007 and launched in 2008.

What is your makeup staple?
Mascara for both of us. We love the lashes.

What’s one thing that others don’t know about you?
Some may not know that Jocey and I live in different states and work via iChat.

What’s one piece of advice you would give to others trying to get started with their own business?
Work hard and be open to the advice that is shared with you and always support others in your industry.

What is your favorite part about weddings?
We love attending weddings for so many reasons because we are hopeless romantics, but it’s seeing the couple interact right after the ceremony that is so sweet. Of course we love pretty details, but we also love portraits of the couple. It’s so amazing when their love is captured in photos and will be enjoyed for years to come.

What is your hobby outside of blogging {is there life outside blogging}?
We love to get together and see each other! We also both love to run. Jocey loves anything to do with fashion and I like to cook and shoot food.

P.S. In honor of Kate and Wills today, I too shall don the perfect wedding hat, and for the record, though I didn’t stay up until 2am to watch the wedding, I definitely have it on DVR and from what I’ve seen so far, I love everything about it.
