Mason Jar Sunday {Happy Golden Anniversary to the Fitzgeralds}

Last night we had a surprise party for Pat’s parents to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary! Talk about an inspiration for a real marriage, not one that was dolled up to make money on TV. Pat and his brothers (did I mention he is one of 6 siblings?) pulled together a huge surprise party and shuttled in all of the Fitzgerald’s closest family and friends to dance the night away together. A band played oldies but goodies and Frank Sinatra and it was such a special time.
So here’s my golden mason for you today, to celebrate a very special golden anniversary to my in-laws.

There should totally be an award called the Golden Mason! 50 years vs. 72 Days hmm. . . Congrats to them!
Awww! Happy 50th anniversary to them. My husband’s grandparents celebrated their 50th a few years back. It was so fun to find a pretty gold gift!

50 years: how wonderful & inspirational! My in-laws celebrated their 40th anniversary last month & they’re such an inspiration to us.
Congrats to them, 50 years is just amazing! So lovely to see couples making it even when the media’s just going crazy over, ahem, certain divorces.
