2011 Four Seasons Hotel Bridal Fair: Recap In Pictures

If you are a subscriber to my wedding column for Examiner.com, you may have received this article today, but I wanted to share with all of you on the blog as well - there were just too many images to share, so please bare with this very photo-heavy post (and I shared a few teaser pics over on the Facebook page as well).

For any brides seeking inspiration, or those just looking for some lovely little images to get you through this Monday afternoon, look no further!  Below are my favorites from yesterday, along with a recap (all photos were taken by me):

Yesterday I was invited to attend the 2011 Four Seasons Hotel Bridal Fair, located in downtown San Francisco, to cover the event for my wedding column on Examiner.com.  This event was a total inspiration overload, in a good way, and provided me with more eye-candy than I could have ever imagined!

The day started out with endless Domaine Chandon champagne and mimosas, and a lovely brunch from the Four Seasons kitchen.  I had a quiche and a parfait - and both were out-of-this-world delicious.

The suite, sponsored by Gilt City, was set up with a hair stylist (Jim Avila), makeup artist (Darlene Carlson), masseuse and aesthetician - all waiting to pamper the lovely brides-to-be and help them with free consultations and trials.  There were also a few models in the room, wearing the latest in bridal fashion from Jin Wang.

loving all the textures in this Jin Wang beauty!

The catering staff on-site was absolutely amazing, and they made sure that all of your wishes were taken care of without a hitch.  David Robinson, Director of Catering, was a perfect host, and a gem at that - he is kind, attentive, and you can tell just from meeting him that he is truly passionate about all of his clients.  San Francisco brides looking for a venue - you must get in touch with David!

Once the brunch was finished, we all headed down to the ballroom where the main event was waiting for us.  There was a string quartet playing all of the traditional wedding ceremony music, and I’m not going to lie, for a second there, I got goosebumps and even slightly misty-eyed, just thinking of all the excitement and anticipation for these happy brides-to-be.  The enthusiasm in the room was absolutely contagious!

Inside the ballroom we had everything from perfectly placed table settings (for all Four Seasons, of course) to floral arrangements to cake tastings… you name it, it was there.  Vendors waited patiently to give you their “elevator speech” and you could tell that everyone was there for the right reason - to make the bride and groom as happy as can be.

can you believe this stunning succulent bouquet?

And just a few more images, because I warned you it would be a photo-heavy post (and besides, I don’t want you to miss out on any of the inspiration!

i fell in LOVE with this chandelier!

All in all it was an amazing morning - thank you to the Four Seasons for hosting such a lovely event!

I absolutely love how they used fruit in the centerpieces. What a great idea to brighten the room! Looks like a blast and makes me want to plan my wedding all over again! If you ever want to do a post on unique engagement rings and custom wedding bands let me know. Mine have quite a story.
