If you haven’t seen it yet, go pay a visit to Brenda’s Wedding Blog today to see an April Showers Brings May Flowers-inspired shoot that I created, with photography by Gladys Jem. I’ll post more on the shower shoot next week, but just in time for earth day today, wanted to share one of the DIYs that I created: Seed Packet Placecards that can double as favors {you can also check this out on the LLD facebook page}! Note: images below were taken by me, hence not quite as pretty as Gladys’ shots!
Here’s what you’ll need:
*Kraft Paper Tags {or purchase paper in your desired color and cut to “tag” size, using a hole punch for the top center}
*Pretty pen {I used white ink to stand out}
*Scissors
*Packing tape
*Seed packets
*Baker’s twine {find out where I get it for the least expensive price!}
Instructions:
Cut the baker’s twine just long enough to tie in to a pretty bow at the top of your tag
Using your packing tape, form a double sided loop to apply your seed packet to the tag.
Write the recipient’s name at the top of the tag and you’re good to go!
Pretty simple, right?
Happy Earth Day everyone! And for those who will be celebrating, have a wonderful Easter!
xoxo, jacin

Cute idea and your pictures are great! I like that the place cards double as a favor.
Well, I just LOVE this!
We’re doing seed packets for the wedding favors and you can bet your bum that if I had to buy plain packets instead of personalized, this would be what I decorated them like!!!
Gotta love a place card that is ALSO a favor! And something you can take home and grow! Very cool!
These are so stinkin’ sweet-I love them!
Wow! These are such a great little place setting, name card, and a favor all wrapped up into one! Basically I love them!
Jacin, this is absolutely adorable! LOVE IT!
