I am busy prepping for a lovely wedding today down in Half Moon Bay, where I am not only doing the decor but I’m also pulling together the florals, something I absolutely LOVE to do. While I’m gone, though, I wanted to get you up to speed on some updates going on over here in LLD land. I am working with a very talented duo to revise my branding slightly, to something a bit more in line with the future of Lovely Little Details. Really not a drastic change, but just a few tweaks here and there (remember, I said branding can sometimes take a long time to get to the right spot). I hope to have the new look launched by the new year, but in the meantime I wanted to share the inspiration board I pulled together for my branding (note the gorgeous painting up in the top left by Kiele Gregoire that I absolutely love). New England meets California is pretty much who I am, and I am working towards showcasing more of that, rather than what I “think” I should be doing. I will be focusing on more design and less planning, and adding an accent on florals, too. I want something comfortable yet classy. Handcrafted weddings can be classic and clean (and people don’t even have to know things were handmade), and it really is about pulling all of those lovely little details together to bring inspiration to life. I’m pretty excited with the direction we’re headed thus far! Stay tuned for more and thank you all so much for continuing to support me in this journey! And don’t you worry, the mason jar isn’t going anywhere.
Have a great weekend!

This is exciting! I was a little nervous about the mason jar. Good thing you put that last sentence in there. Whew!
Just found your blog and I am loving looking through your posts. I just read the one on branding and it was really great. I’m in the middle of starting my own business and its good to be reminded of these things.
I just love that pic of you when you were little - it’s so cute!!
I love your inspiration board. Cannot wait to see what you have in store. It takes time to get it right, and I am myself still working on it but you, girl, you have a vision and I cannot wait for you to share it x
