Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was full of mixed emotions but it was so so so so wonderful to reconnect with my mom’s side of the family down in San Diego, and you can bet my granddad was smiling down on us for that. We shared our share of tears but matched them with laughter  when all was said and done.

Here’s a little info behind the images above:

• My 40-lb dog thinks he should sit on my lap at all times. I’m totally fine with it, especially after this friend reminded me that her 80-lb dog does the same thing :)
• I’m finalizing my LLD bags for my clients, which I’m filling with my favorite things. They’ll be ready to go in the next few weeks and I can’t wait to get them off in the mail to my lovely brides.
• One of my fave online etsy shops, Waiting For Martha, is opening a new online store with lots of goodies and I just got my navy blue & sparkle bracelet in the mail last week!
• Our neighbor loves Rhody so much that he went and picked up one of the pups from the litter after Rhody - these two share the same dad and I swear, they must know they’re related because they are inseparable when it comes to play time in the park. It’s adorable.
• I finally bought a new pair of workout shoes, in the perfect shade of coral-y neon.
• We paid homage to Granddad and I brought all the flowers down with me from SF. My mom helped me with the final touches on the boutonnieres I made for all the family members. It was really sentimental.
• I was gifted with an amazing image of my grandmother dancing from one of my mom’s cousins. Is that not amazing!
• Pat and I fell in love with SoCal. Don’t get me wrong, SF is ok, but I am a warm weather girl and the south just has my heart at the moment.
• The best part about going away? Being reunited with our pup when we return :)

This week is a busy one as we prepare for our big trip back east for a few weeks of family & friends, site visits & wedding prep, and warm summer weather. See you in a few days :)
