For those of you currently in the registry process, or about to embark on the journey through scanner-land - you will definitely benefit from this!!
Let me paint a quick picture for you and see if you can relate:
First off, we are on our way out of a recession… money is still tight, and you’re getting married. You don’t want to impose on family and friends to register for that dream Kitchen Aid mixer you’ve wanted or the shiny (and expensive) new Calphalon pots (so funny how wish lists change in life, isn’t it!) But let’s face it - you’re still getting married and those are staple items for the registry list, so deep down, you probably want to register for them (but still feel bad about the price).
Next - there’s a really cute apron you want from Anthropologie and a pair of glass salt & pepper shakers you want from Pottery Barn… but is it really worth opening a registry at those places for just 1 item? For me, I was afraid it would look bad if I had 6 registries on my shower invites!
Then - you want a set of Riedel wine glasses but you have to choose a store in order to add them to your registry. What if another store comes up with a sale and has them cheaper, but your guest is “forced” to purchase them from the more expensive store because it’s where your registry is housed?
…. enter RegistryStop.
Built by a team of individuals including recently-married people who went through the same issues mentioned above, RegistryStop allows you to register for the items you want, regardless of the store, while on the back-end, it searches online for the lowest price on that item. So in the long run - you receive the gifts you wanted, your guests are able to purchase the exact item for the lowest price, and you can register for the random items from random stores without being locked in to creating several different registries.
RegistryStop also has a mobile application so you can literally scan items from any store at any time, which in my book, is perfect because so many times you’re browsing through a store and think - that would be perfect to add to the list - but you forget about it when you’re back adding items to your own registry.
Already have registries created? They’ve got that covered too, and are set up to keep your registries in sync with Williams-Sonoma, Macy’s, Target and Pottery Barn, all the while working to add more stores as we speak.
So as if I need to do any more convincing, just go check it out for yourself! For more information on how it works, go here: http://www.registrystop.com/how/. And to sign up and start registering, go here: http://www.registrystop.com/register/.
In my mind, it’s a total win-win to just sign up for it. Now if they only had this 6 months ago when we were registering…
Side note - this is NOT a sponsored post, this is my opinion. I rarely put up posts about specific products unless it is something I 100% believe in, and this is one of those cases. Hopefully this will make your registry process easier and more affordable!

YES! there is a god! haha
another amazing find. THANK YOU!
This. Is. Amazing. I'm no where near ready to start registering yet but I can already tell this will be a life saver. Thanks for sharing!!!
I particularly like that this site finds your guests the lowest price and lets them buy you the actual item. Some other registry sites that let you pick items from any store don't actually let your guests purchase a gift; they just let the guests give you cash that you can then use to go buy the item (or not). That's a little too close to asking for cash for my taste, but this site is something I'd actually use.
how cool is this!!!!!
As Jacin mentioned we're rapidly working on adding support for more stores. We'd love to hear from brides that are planning to register in the near term which stores you would like to see your registry synced with. The more requests we hear from interested the users the quicker we'll work on adding the store you want!
@ blog - I tried using your site this morning and Crate & Barrel and Bed, Bath & Beyond were not coming up in the lists but Target was…I'll keep trying and will submit a request through your site. Thanks!
Kristina,
We do not support Crate & Barrel or Bed, Bath & Beyond yet. Both are however already being worked on, and we expect to have support for both in coming weeks. We can keep you posted through the email account your registered with when both are available if you'd like.
Thanks for the feedback!
Fabulous idea!!
Umm looks amazing. I just wish I had a wedding to plan to use it haha….maybe soon.

Ooo, I like!
Great service - nice find, Jacin. Sometimes, it's the things that are so obvious, am I right??
This is even better than giftregistry360.com (our current registry)! Love the ability to buy a gift at a lower price regardless of store and still have it checked off. Very cool.
This is totally genius. I might just have to use it :) Thanks for sharing!
