Isn’t it so true? My mom used to always say this so I thought it could be fun to turn it in to a beachy little design. I’d like to put this in my future beach home, in a lovely little driftwood frame in the perfect shade of gray. The 8×10 print is up for sale in my etsy shop (the LLD watermark in bottom right corner will go away when purchased) but in the meantime I thought it could be a nice little sentiment for your Thursday to remind you to keep your head up and stay positive {of course feel free to share and use if you like it!}. Or as I told my friend Chelsea the other day “you just have to have swagger”. Whatever that means :)
I’m off to Chicago for an event and tomorrow we have a very special duo visiting the blog as our Bloggers {Unveiled}. See you then!

so true. I’m heading to the beach (Maine!) next week for my bday and I feel like it’s not complete without a rainy day. Although I’d much rather have it sunny so I can be out on the beach, sometimes it’s nice to put a sweater on and curl up with a good book and some coffee on the porch overlooking the water.
my dad says this ALL the time! I love it :)
True and so well said. . .
so true!!!
Can I have one??!!
Love this. If only I had a beach, sunny or rainy I’ll take it either way!
So true! I take the poochy down to the beach with an umbrella on rainy days. It’s peaceful and calm. I love it!
