Sale Alert: j.crew Bridesmaid Dresses {and two pretty finds from anthropologie}

by jacin on July 18, 2011

Happy Monday, lovelies! How was your weekend? I spent mine in Chicago working an event - I love Chicago - but was able to squeeze in time on Friday night to catch the late showing of the Tribe Called Quest documentary Beats Rhymes & Life. It was amazing. I loved everything about it.

Anyways, I had a completely different post scheduled for today but then I came across this sale and it just had to take priority. My cousin got married this past May and asked all of her bridesmaids wear navy - whatever dress we wanted, it just had to be the right shade of navy. I was looking all over the place and finally came back to this lovely, the j.crew Erica Cotton Cady dress, in navy. And thank goodness I did - I LOVED it. It was comfortable, cute, and had pockets. Need I say more? I’ve already worn it again twice and will continue to rock it to as many events as I can. Paired with a cute pair of nude shoes (my lovely louboutins do the trick) and a sparkly necklace or chunky bracelet, this dress is versatile for a classy affair or laid back backyard get-together.

And it is on sale. Now. Like $149 off, on sale. Originally $250, this gem has been discounted to a mere $99.99 for select colors (black and navy included), and $69.99 for the chocolate color.

If you are looking for a perfect dress for your ladies, or a lovely little frock for an upcoming event, you must snag this! Here’s the link to check out the sale!

And that’s not the only one on sale, either. At a quick glance I noticed at least 10 other styles that were reduced as well. Here’s the link for all bridal party dresses. Your ladies will thank you later :)

Oh and while we’re on the topic of pretty dresses…

…check out these lovely frocks that melted my willpower from Anthropologie. Yes, I purchased them both, but don’t judge me, I had a nice little gift card that had been waiting in the wings just for this occasion. I may switch up the belt on the black & white one and add a thin belt to the other, but either way, I’m pretty smitten with these two. And the fact that I had a giftcard makes me a happy girl.

Happy Monday!

P.S. If you’re wondering why I’ve been throwing the (c) at the bottom of posts lately, it’s because I have another blogger who has been snagging all of my posts/content and reposting on her blog, under her name as if she wrote it. Boo :(. SO, since I haven’t been able to get it to stop, I’ve added a little copyright at the bottom so when this does show up on her blog, it will be clear that it wasn’t written by her. Ah, the blog world. What a crazy little place :)

I’m sorry. Ummm… I guess it’s flattering? Probably mostly aggravating though. I get all my Jacin content straight from the source! It’s way better that way.

I can’t believe that little stealer is still chopping away at LLD - hoping it stops soon!

Love the two Anthro dresses - Both are so different and you can switch them up with fun belts for totally different looks. I love em. Your nude Louboutins will be cute with the second one!

Wish I would have seen those dresses before I chose my BM dresses..they would have been perfect for my wedding. I wore a J Crew dress in a wedding 5 years ago and I still wear it occassionally to dressy functions!!!

What a jerk for stealing your stuff!!! I bought the gathering breeze dress as well. Even that large price tag could not keep me away from that dress, I was in LOVE when I tried it on! :)

Numero uno, love the sale dresses! Wish they were the right color for my wedding.. it’d be perfect! Second, what a b*tch, stealing your stuff. Kind of ridiculous, especially that they thought you wouldn’t find out..?! And third.. I’m obsessed with the green and white Anthro dress. Seriously trying to accumulate the funds to get it!
