Hi everyone! My name is Camille, and I’m Jacin’s new blog assistant (yay!). I’m here today on LLD to share a breathtaking real engagement shoot by AE Pictures Inc. :)
Jenn’s red dress + the sand = a picture perfect summer engagement session. On top of this killer combo, this stylish couple has a lot of beautiful locations and outfit changes. How wonderful to have such a variety of photographs to look back on. There are literally so many amazing images from this shoot, I simply could not choose a favorite shot! That is a great problem to have.
Here is what the bride-to-be Jenn had to share with us about the AMAZING proposal story;
“One day Paul told me a friend of his wanted to take us horse back riding on the beach with him and his wife. I have never gone horseback riding so I thought that would be cool, but wierd that I didn’t know who this other couple was. So we are on our way on a Saturday afternoon to go horseback riding in Morro Bay and Paul “pretended” to talk to his buddy. His friend just happened to get in a minor fender bender, and wouldn’t make it to go horseback riding with us. So we went by ourselves. We spent an hour riding horses on the beach, in and out of the water. I made a comment about how many sand dollars were on the beach, and that I had never seen so many in my life! So Paul told me that after this ride, we can go out to the Pismo Dunes and walk along the beach to see what shells we can pick up. After the horseback ride, we drove out onto the dunes. He parked the car, he grabbed my hand, and told me we should take a walk. We walked and came up to a heart-shaped fire pit that was already burning, bright red blanket, two chairs, a bottle of wine, two glasses, a pile of firewood, and a chocolate cake with chocolate covered strawberries on it. I looked at him and kept asking “what is this?” Then, he pulled out of his back pocket a box, got down on one knee, and asked me if I would marry him.
I was shocked he had this planned for months and months! It was perfect right at sunset too. We sat on the blanket opened our wine, ate a piece of our cake, enjoyed the heart-shaped bonfire, and that moment in time.”
How thoughtful and romantic. I love it, go Paul!
The beach, a parasol umbrella, a bike, a vineyard, a killer red dress, fun printed heels, a man in uniform, and of course love. This shoot seems to have it all!
Thanks Jenn and Paul for sharing your romantic proposal with us, and Annika for sharing these gorgeous photos. Annika’s work never disappoints! Her images are always full of beautiful natural light and gorgeous colors, and they are so very timeless.
I’ll be back next week with some more posts and a fun, free printable for LLD readers.
See you next time!
-Camille
