Be Still My New England Loving Heart: Gabrielle & James’ Nantucket Wedding Invites {Lettuce Paper}

Oh. My. Gosh.

That’s exactly what I said when I laid eyes on today’s amazing invite suite, designed and printed by the super talented {and sweet} Nicola Darrach of Lettuce Paper. If you know me at all, you know that deep down I am a New Englander through and through {even though I currently live in California} and my niche is everything shoreline chic, with a bit of rustic or preppy charm thrown in. I just love it. I used to count down to summertime for trips to Nantucket and Maine, to feel the salty air on my face and sand in my toes, with an ice cold glass of cranberry juice in my hand {oh and to stop and smell the beach roses along the rocky beach path - bonus}. So when I spotted these on my college friend Gaby’s facebook page, I immediately said “can I please please please blog these?” And so with her approval, and fresh images in my inbox from Nicola, here you go, friends. The ultimate wedding invite suite (and just wait til you see the Save the Dates!!), one that is sure to go down in the books as one of my ultimate faves!

Gaby and James - I know an awesome designer who is dying to help with your wedding. Her name rhymes with Mason.

OK fine, I’ll just “chaperone” the after party at the Rose and Crown - that works, too!

Right?? Right?! Attention Mason Jar Critics - this is how a mason jar shows it’s class! ↑

Oh, hello grand finale, one of the sweetest Save the Dates… ever.

Are you guys as in love with this as I am? Please tell me I’m not alone. Oh, and PS - my New England loving heart is full right now, because just this past weekend I booked a 2012 Cape Cod “destination” (for me, at least!) wedding and I can. not. wait. to get started. HINT: the bride is one of the most radiant girls I’ve ever met, with some serious style. More to come soon!

Happy Monday, everyone!!

Oh. my. I love everything about these invitations. My favorite has to be the mason jar with the ‘cocktails’ - such cute graphics + stellar typography. Thanks for sharing and have a great Monday, Jacin!

Gabby’s invitations are absolutely gorgeous, which is exactly what I’d expect from her. If the invites are a sign of what’s to come, her wedding weekend is going to be amazing, one of the most memorable weekends for everyone involved.
