Polka Dot Love {Dare to be Different on Your Wedding Day}

by jacin on September 15, 2011

So who said you can’t wear polka dots on your big day? I love this little Oscar de la Renta number - and the fact that the lovely bride had fun with her wedding gown. Talk about something to remember!

I just love everything about this. Not that I could pull it off, but, hey, if you can do it, go for it!

So, what do you think? Yay or nay?

It’s definitely a more casual vibe, but not any more so than any other short wedding dress I don’t think.

Great dress. I love that this bride went for something less traditional. She looks great!

It’s spunky! I’m not sure I could pull it off but she definitely rocks it.

It’s definitely very cute! I don’t think I would want to wear it though…are swiss dots a more subdued alternative? :)

LOVE IT. I am all about departing from the expected wedding dress, if you’re not feelin’ what’s out there! All that matters is looking and feeling great…and who says that you need a full length, white dress to do that? :)

Too cute! I love when brides are adventurous with their wedding day style.

I LOVE it! And I love the non-matching bridal party, along with non-matching bouquets. And I’m super into tie-less grooms. Love this post!

Great dress. I think the bride wears it well. :) If you can rock it why not go for it!! At the end of the day… it is your wedding day and it is all about you (and the groom!)

I really love it, however, I would do it as a second/reception dress option, not the main wedding dress.

i love that dress- so cute!! I could see wearing it to a ton of wedding events but it’s not my style for a wedding dress.

The dress is certainly but it’s hard to distinguish the bride in that group pic…only the white bouquet gives her away. I think that I’d save this for a shower or perhaps my “leaving the reception” dress…JMHO.
