I think it’s safe to say I have about a million masons lying around… so in the spirit of our girls getaway this weekend, don’t you think this memento jar idea is sweet? I just love this idea and might have to put it to use.

That is such a wise idea! I’ve been hoarding these stacks of awkwardly shaped souvenirs-like champagne corks from Paris when I got engaged and little things from Ireland when I met Gabe-and I just don’t knowwhat to do with them! I’m not a scrapbooker, and I hated the idea of pasting them to a page for all eternity, where they’re only seen when you pull them off the bottom shelf.
This is totally what I need to do! I love that you can take each item out and still enjoy it individually or put it elsewhere.
Awesome idea. Thanks!
I loved this idea too and used it in one of my posts…its such a great idea for displaying memories!
I love this Idea, and the rest of your blog! Almost weekly I find myself with an abundance of acquired items that I probably shouldn’t keep, but dont want to get rid of either. Although I wouldn’t want to make new jars weekly, This would be an excellent method of organizing keepsakes from memorable adventures! Now I just need to figure out a way to display them, so they dont just find their way back to the closet.
