i can’t remember, did i tell you we picked our signature cocktail? if i did, just bear with me because my mind is moving a mile a minute, and oh yeah, i’m almost 3 days away :)
we decided on a great little cocktail called a “hole in one”. it’s perfect for our wedding because we’re getting married at a yacht & country club, and the guys are all getting their golf game on the day before the wedding.
ingredients:
- strawberry vodka
- lemonade
- iced tea
here’s a little sign i made to put near the bar and on our cocktail tables during cocktail hour. as a reminder, we’re doing beer and wine (and champagne!) the rest of the night so we want people to take advantage of our special drink :)
so, with our signature drink taken care of, i wanted to make them extra special with the cutest little straws you’ll ever see. check out these little lovelies i picked up today from heliotrope.com!!
i went with pink and gray and i think they’ll add just the right amount of extra pizazz to the drinks :)
and the best part? they were only $8 for 200 straws!!! yahoo!!!

An Arnold Palmer with strawberry vodka? Yes, please! I wonder if it would be doubly awesome using sweet tea vodka? Off to the liquor store…
Ps, cute straws!
