Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend. I cannot believe Christmas is this week, I am so not ready for the holidays to be over! I feel like they just crept up on me and I haven’t had enough time to really enjoy yet, anyone else feel this way?
Anyways… Friday I had one of my last weddings of the year, a classy and intimate winter wedding at the Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay where I pulled together all of the florals along with paper design and decor. The lovely bride (and friend of mine), Anya, mentioned her dress had a lavender hue, so I tied in some lavender garden roses and silver brunia to match her gorgeous BCBG gown. Yes, her gorgeous wedding gown was a total score from BCBG, can you believe it?? Here are some shots I captured of the day.
{I removed the table numbers from the arrangements once all the guests found their spots, don’t worry :)}
I was thrilled to find ranunculus available along with peonies, I just love all the different textures we had going on. I scored the votives and mercury glass vases from World Market.
I was so happy with how Omar’s boutonniere came out - bouts are kind of my favorite thing. I just love how you can incorporate so many lovely little details in to such a tiny accent piece. I ran out of pins at the last minute, so actually used the black flower tape to secure a safety pin to the back! Hey, whatever works, right?
I was so so so so happy that Anya loved her bouquet - I incorporated silver brunia, seeded eucalyptus and lambs ear along with big, beautiful peonies and the lavender roses to add different textures.
As the wedding was intimate, with only 36 guests, I arranged the placecards on a burlap runner in a not-straight-on-purpose design. I also embossed their custom menus (we all know how much I love embossing, right).
When Anya initially told me about her wedding, I suggested using some silver glittery branches in the decor to add some wintry sparkle throughout the florals. You will also see some David Austin roses in there too (a great backup option if peonies aren’t available).
And no wedding is complete without a glass of bubbly (did I mention I was also a guest?)

Congratulations again Anya & Omar and thank you for choosing me to help with your big day.

My dearest Jacin,
Omar and I wanted to express our sincere gratitude for your fabulous work and inspiration! You are truly a delight and so great at what you do! You made our wedding planning a breeze and worry-free, and what bride doesn’t want that ease of planning on her big day! Additionally, the flowers and decor were out of this world amazing and exactly what I envisioned for my wedding. I must say, that your attention to details was really what made our event so special! Every single detail from the flower selection to the menu embossing was absolutely superb. I am certain my Ritz friends will be following up with you very soon, as I have gotten so many comments on how fabulous and smooth the event was.
Much love from the newlyweds!
The happy couple - Anya and Omar!
